OOCL UK’s road fleet provides a high quality service across the country. To do this they use a fleet of over 100 contract vehicles. They pay particular attention to ensuring timely arrival.
All OOCL’s UK contract vehicles use the Truckcom App. The smartphones receive job information directly from their traffic office. The App then captures signatures electronically. Customers then have direct access to downloadable PODs. Staff can monitor each vehicle’s location every minute. If a vehicle is delayed, Truckcom can send late alerts directly to customers.
Truckcom’s powerful web system is used in OOCL UK offices. It interfaces directly with existing OOCL IT systems. Truckcom completely streamlines the flow of information from OOCL IT to the driver and back. This saves a huge amount of time. Eliminating double entering of information also reduces errors.
